It's tricky to decide what to take, though. I don't want anything too heavy (metaphorically or literally), so I'm leaning towards something light and fluffy, which will probably end up being a YA romance... but, uh, would that be weird for a honeymoon? Awk-ward.
Anyway, here are some of the books I have in my TBR pile, would love to hear your thoughts...
I would say all of them but your husband to be may object. Have fun on your honeymoon.
ReplyDeleteMaybe a little. Especially since I don't have an ereader hehe.
DeleteHow exciting! And two weeks in Fiji? Sounds magnificent.
ReplyDeleteGo with your gut and grab the fun books. :)
I think that's a good idea! Now which ones... hehe.
DeleteI found Game of Thrones really heavy, although I know a lot of people love them so personally, I wouldn't take that one.
ReplyDeleteVixen sounds great though and I love Lord of the Flies.
Congratulations on finally getting your readings sorted :)
Hmm maybe I should leave that one for another time then. Thanks Hanna!
DeleteI was going to recommend leaving Game of Thrones behind. It's a fantastic book/series, but I found myself obsessed with it, so if you're like me you'll find it hard to tear yourself away for a swim or a cocktail!
DeleteCongrats on the wedding by the way!
Congratulations on the wedding, Belle!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful time in Fiji! I'm sooooo jealous.
Some brilliant books there too :)
Thanks Jo! That's my problem, too many to choose from! lol
DeleteI loved Sisterhood Everlasting. I've read mixed reviews on it, lots of people upset at how things went, but I thought it was great. If you're a fan of the original Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants series I think it's a must read, definitely a lot sadder, but I like my books sad.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your wedding, and have a great honeymoon!
I've heard it's sad, so I'm avoiding it at the moment! Don't know how I feel about what I think must happen...
DeleteWhat great stuff!
ReplyDeleteI keep wishing Drink Slay Love would come out on audio.
So that is what you have been up to! CONGRATIES!!
ReplyDeleteHaver fun!!
Yes, I am so looking forward to getting back to reading and blogging now! x
DeleteYay for the Fitzgerald--I haven't read that one. :) I have a few of the YAs on my TBR, but can't vouch for them just yet.
ReplyDeleteWhatever you choose to take, have a wonderful, amazing time, and all the best for your wedding and your honeymoon. I'm so happy for you. :) xx
Thank you Stephanie :)
Deletecongrats on your wedding and thoroughly enjoy your honeymoon :)
ReplyDeletesee you on the other side
x Nomes
Thanks Nomes... just got back from the honeymoon today (unfortunately!)
DeleteHope, your honeymoon was the best) Soo.. do you still think Lord of Flies is a thing to read near the sea?)
ReplyDeleteBtw, nice blog, i'll subscribe
DeleteI didn't end up taking it along so I can't say :)
