I'm itching to get my hands on Entertainment Weekly's 2011 Entertainers of the Year issue. Ryan Gosling, Bridesmaids and Judy Blume, oh my! It looks like so much fun.
This is a tad old, but I just had to post about it: last week's Who featured a spread with the first stills from Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby. It looks ah-mazing. Carey Mulligan is PERFECT as Daisy (adore her accessories - that headband! I die) and I'm coming around to Leo and Tobey. They look pretty great, actually. I can't wait!

I seriously NEED to get my hands on the new issue of Entertainment Weekly. It's the reunions issue, featuring Back to the Future! Pretty in Pink! Romy and Michelle! The Gilmore Girls! Home Improvement! THE PRINCESS BRIDE!
In other news, Taylor Lautner has officially been admitted into the Handsome Men's Club thanks to his spread in GQ this month.

Mag Monday: Double Shots of Kristen Stewart and Ryan Gosling
This was me when I saw Kristen Stewart on the cover of the September issue of W (minus the blue fur):
I'm not a massive fan of hers - her acting annoys me, and she's uncomfortable to watch in interviews/on the red carpet - but holy smokin' hotness she looks amazing here. Love it.
There are a bunch of new stills inside the mag too, including some cute chess playing and what looks like Bella's "little nudger" moment (*groan*):

Kristen is also on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week with Robert Pattinson, so I guess the hype machine for Breaking Dawn is officially in gear. The cover is obviously a still from the movie, and I have to say it's a bit... blergh. Why does Edward look so scared? This is one of the supposedly hot honeymoon scenes, so why do they look so, well, cold? I know he's a vampire and all, but c'mon!
Although I guess I shouldn't be too picky, it's still better than this:

But my favourite cover of the week is most definitely Ryan Gosling on Esquire. It is so freaking adorable - even more so because apparently it was his idea. It represents his two selves - the public one, and the real him. The rest of the shoot apparently illustrates recent dreams Ryan has had and his weird obsession with skeletons. The story that goes with it is awesome - I am so incredibly jealous of the journo who interviewed Ryan and got to spend a whole day with him, driving, going on rides at Coney Island and eating candy.

Mag Monday: Emma Stone (Again), Paul Rudd and Glee
I feel like this feature is dominated by Emma Stone every second week - I can't help it, she's getting around these days (and that's a good thing)! This is one of my fave Teen Vogue covers in a long time; Emma looks stunning (so healthy! so pretty! so bright!) and I'm super glad she's back to rocking red hair. She says some adorable things in the cover story about her career and working with Andrew Garfield (seriously these two can't get any cuter) - you can read part of it here.
When I saw the new cover of Nylon Guys I actually clapped. Because, you guys, it's PAUL RUDD. Paul Mother Effing Adorableness Rudd. Squee!
Finally, Entertainment Weekly has published an open letter to Glee that had me going like this the whole time I was reading it:

Mag Monday: True Blood Stars Cover EW
FINALLY, season four of True Blood is here! Well, not here here, but there here, as it hit US screens last night. I'm tossing up whether I want to a) stay spoiler-free and wait until I can see all the shows in one go, as I have in past years; b) read spoilers and still wait until I can see all the shows in one hit; or, c) give in to my impatience and watch each ep as it becomes available, so I won't have to worry about spoilers. I'm leaning towards the latter, because I'm dying to see how the season pans out - I hope it stays faithful to the fourth book (my fave), or I might just get stabby.
Anyway, what this ramble is eventually bringing me to is this: I love the Entertainment Weekly covers this week! The Alexander Skarsgard one is my favourite, of course - his expression cracks me up. Know what else cracks me up? Stephen Moyer's shoulder pads.
